January – February
After the Christmas holidays, crowds thin out and the weather is comfortably cool at 15°C to 25°C. In February enjoy Mardi Gras at Universal Studios, with parades, live concerts and Cajun food.
March-May
March kicks off spring break season, with warmer weather ranging from 20°C to 30°C and livelier crowds, especially around Easter. Come during Mardi Gras to enjoy a spectacular parade on select nights, outrageous street performers, vibrant music, colourful costumes and countless beads flying through the air.
By May, the crowds begin to ease and the weather is perfect for making a splash at Volcano Bay.
June – August
Summer is peak season with hot temperatures between 27°C and 35°C. Longer park hours and Volcano Bay’s water rides make it a hit for families.
September – October
September and October are great for thrill-seekers with Halloween Horror Nights taking centre stage. Temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C, and crowds are light in September but grow as Halloween approaches.
From August 29 2025, Universal Studio comes alive with ghouls, zombies and things that go bump in the night in the run up to Halloween on November 2nd. Experience Terrifying Haunted Houses inspired by the biggest names in horror, plus Universal’s own twisted creations.
Enjoy Sinister Scare Zones filled with ‘scareactors’ on the prowl, live entertainment and scream another way on some of the park’s most exhilarating rides and attractions, which will be open during the event. We’d recommend a minimum of seven days, giving you time to visit each of the parks without rushing around.
Should I buy tickets in advance or at the park?

What are the different lands in Epic Universe?
The Park will feature distinct lands from Super Nintendo World, with Mario Kart rides and interactive experiences to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, rumoured to be set in 1920s Paris and London. You’ll also find the Isle of Berk, inspired by the How To Train Your Dragon franchise and Dark Universe, dedicated to Universal’s classic monsters like Dracula and Frankenstein.
What new rides and attractions will Epic Universe have?
In Super Nintendo Land try your hand at Mario Kart racing, go on Yoshi’s Adventure and take a Donkey Kong-themed coaster with Mine-Cart Madness. If you want to travel between parks, there will be complimentary shuttle bus transportation between Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Volcano Bay, and Universal CityWalk, along with all of the Universal hotels.
Do I need a separate ticket to visit Epic Universe?
To begin with, there will be no standalone tickets for Epic Universe. Instead, for those travelling in 2025, there is the 3 Park Explorer Ticket with 1 Day Epic Universe; for 2026 visits, an All Park Ticket will be required. Will Epic Universe offer Express Pass and Early Park Admission?
Currently, Universal Express Passes are not available for Universal Epic Universe. Guests of the Universal Orlando hotels all receive Early Park Admission, granting access to the theme parks up to an hour before opening. Early Park Admission for Epic Universe will begin May 23, 2025.
