Best Times To Travel

January – February

After the Christmas holidays, crowds thin out and the weather is comfortably cool at 15°C to 25°C. In February enjoy Mardi Gras at Universal Studios, with parades, live concerts and Cajun food.

March-May

March kicks off spring break season, with warmer weather ranging from 20°C to 30°C and livelier crowds, especially around Easter. Come during Mardi Gras to enjoy a spectacular parade on select nights, outrageous street performers, vibrant music, colourful costumes and countless beads flying through the air.

By May, the crowds begin to ease and the weather is perfect for making a splash at Volcano Bay.

June – August

Summer is peak season with hot temperatures between 27°C and 35°C. Longer park hours and Volcano Bay’s water rides make it a hit for families.

September – October

September and October are great for thrill-seekers with Halloween Horror Nights taking centre stage. Temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C, and crowds are light in September but grow as Halloween approaches.

From August 29 2025, Universal Studio comes alive with ghouls, zombies and things that go bump in the night in the run up to Halloween on November 2nd. Experience Terrifying Haunted Houses inspired by the biggest names in horror, plus Universal’s own twisted creations.

Enjoy Sinister Scare Zones filled with ‘scareactors’ on the prowl, live entertainment and scream another way on some of the park’s most exhilarating rides and attractions, which will be open during the event. Feeling peckish? Feed your fear at select themed dining locations and top off your night with themed merchandise! Tickets for this special event are sold separately, so talk to our agents today about adding them to your booking!

November – December

In November and December, it’s time for festive celebrations like Grinchmas and dazzling decor, with temperatures cooling to about 15°C to 25°C. While crowds increase during the Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks, the magical atmosphere makes it well worth the visit.

Don't miss the "Cheesecake Factory" located at Mall at Millenia. Besides being famous for their cheesecakes you will find an extensive menu on hand. Be warned and be hungry! Their portions are enormous. Sharing is recommended!

If staying at a Disney-owned resort, take advantage of the Extra Magic hours, where lines are short and crowds are small! It's the best time to visit some of the more popular attractions while feeling like you're the only ones in the park!
