Favourite Destination: Chicago, IL, USA
For me Chicago is one of the best city break destinations in the USA. It really does have it all. Stunning museums and galleries, downtown skyscrapers, lots of live music and comedy, shops bars and restaurants. It's also the perfect city break spot for a family holiday - Lincoln Zoo, Play in the Park and catching a baseball game at the famous Wrigley Field are all great family fun activities.

Favourite Destination: Texas, United States
Texas has to be one of my favourite places, take in vibrant cities, history, music and culture. Dallas has the Sixth Floor Museum and The Perot Museum of Nature and Science, great for the family. Make sure you take in the “dive bars” in Deep Ellum. Fort Worth, experience the Old West with the twice daily cattle drive in the Stockyards. Learn to line dance at Billy Bobs, the largest Honky Tonk, visit the Rodeo and enjoy a bottle of Buffalo Butt Beer. Austin, the live music capital of the world, take a sunset cruise on Lady Bird lake and see the world’s largest urban bat colony and then head over to 6th Street for some of that famous music.

Favourite Destination: Las Vegas
My best experience was a trip to The Grand Canyon which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is best combined with a holiday to Las Vegas. Nature’s most incredible creation alongside one of man’s most exciting cities. I would recommend a 5-7 day trip to Las Vegas and taking a couple of days out in the middle to witness this phenomenon of nature before returning to soak up the manmade wonders of Las Vegas famous strip.

Favourite Destination: Anchorage
Alaska is one of the most extraordinary regions in the United States and the best way to experience it at its fullest is with a cruise. You can sail from Vancouver, sunbathing on deck and enjoying the amazing sight of glaziers passing by all at the same time. The cruise takes in the ports of Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway along the way and finishes up in Seattle, tech capital of the world. Best time to visit is during the summer months of June, July and August.

Favourite Destination: San Francisco, CA, United States
San Francisco is diverse and picturesque, with a compact downtown bursting with attractions and each distinct area boasting its own appeal. Union Square is a great option to stay with many restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. Fisherman’s Wharf is ideal for families while the regenerated Embarcadero is a hip neighbourhood on the bay. The Financial District is central and close to famous Chinatown. Take the hop-on hop-off bus tour to explore the city from Golden Gate Park over to Sausalito and Muir Woods. Be sure to pre-book the famous Alcatraz tour as it sell out quickly or join a tour to the nearby winelands or spectacular Yosemite National Park.

Favourite Destination: Nashville, TN, USA
I first visited 'Music City' Nashville 15 years ago and having been back a few times over the last couple of years I cannot believe how much it has changed! I love all the music history to be found in Nashville, the lively nightlife and the historical sites. There is lots of new development in Nashville as it is a real up and coming destination but all the development harks back to the city's history with lots of speakeasy bars and honky tonks to keep the original look and feel of the city.

Favourite Destination: Miami
I love Miami, also known as The Magic City. It is a chic, cosmopolitan city comprising boutiques, art déco architecture, trendy restaurants and a thriving nightlife scene. A visit to Little Havana is a must see with its vibrant murals and Walkway of the stars. Hire a bicycle and feel the wind in your hair along the glamorous beachfront. I would suggest combining Miami with a read trip to the beautiful town of Key West. You can rent a can Miami and drive down the famous sky highway that will bring out to Florida's famous Keys.

Favourite Destination: New York City
I love all the sights and Broadway and the buzz of the city. A tip for New York City is to take the three hour Manhattan cruise all around the Island of Manhattan which will bring you up to Statue of Liberty for great photo opportunities. It is very economical at $30 per person and will give you a great over sight of the city.

Favourite Destination: Chicago, IL, United States
Sinatra said it best, “… And each time I roam, Chicago is calling me home, Chicago is why I just grin like a clown – It’s my kind of town…” Regarded as the cultural heart of America, full of renowned museums, stunning architecture. A must see is the “Skydeck” a glass ledge you can step out onto, 103 floors up - nerves of steel and no fear of heights required. For something more relaxing you can take in the gorgeous views of Lake Michigan, ride a bike around the shore or visit Navy Pier. For music fans Chicago has a legendary blues scene. Of course my tip has to be that no trip to Chicago would be complete without sampling the world famous Chicago Pizza Pie.

Favourite Destination: Memphis, TN, USA
Memphis is one of my favourite cities as there is plenty of things to do and see. I visited Beale Street, home of the blues, which has dozens of bars and clubs with live music. From there we visited the famous Graceland - the home of the late great Elvis Presley. The Civil Rights museum is also another must see. My highlight though was the Memphis Zoo, it was a great for a day out and I then was able to wind down with a River Boat cruise down the Mississippi.

Favourite Destination: San Francisco
The golden state of California, where I was lucky to grow up, is an incredible destination! Best time to visit would be May and October. May when the temperature is mild and the flowers are at their best. October is best to experience the amazing Sunsets.
I would suggest first flying into San Francisco, spending a few days in this awesome and walkable city, then drive up to Northern California to get a taste for the breathtaking National Parks - such as Yosemite, just a couple hours east of San Francisco. Then you could continue your trip back south, driving down the California coastline which boasts stunning scenery and some of the best beach communities in the world. Top things to do would be drop into Alcatraz, visit a winery on the central coast, and call into the original Disney and Universal Studios in LA.

Favourite Destination: Boston
Boston is one of America’s great historical cities, famous for the Tea Party that began the war of Independence, but it’s much more. it's a city filled with small winding streets lined with great bars and world class restaurants. Check out the bustling North End with traditional Italian restaurants. Walk along the new redeveloped waterside area with, stopping in cafe's along the way and a visit to the famous Faneuil Hall is a must. New England enjoys warm summer and cool winters but it is famous for its breathtaking falls. Many of our customers combine a city stay with a beach holiday in Cape Cod, just a 90 minute car ride from Boston itself. From Boston’s bright lights to Cape Cod’s unspoilt beaches, It's the perfect combination for a summer holiday.

I have to say that my favorite destination would have to be Florida. You are almost guaranteed sunshine and with so much to do and see in one state it's a holiday the whole family will enjoy. I love Mexico - for a beach lover like me, it's paradise! But Mexico isn't all white sandy beaches and all-inclusive resorts. Get out and see some of the beautiful attractions resulting from Mexico's Mayan history.

Favourite Destination: Grand Canyon, Arizona, USA
For the trip of a lifetime, a journey through the National parks of America would be hard to beat. An eight day escorted tour is probably the best way to experience this, starting in Las Vegas at the biggest of the parks- Death Valley with its astonishing views of the Grand Canyon- and continuing on with visits to Bryce, Yosemite and Zion National parks.

Favourite Destination: Seattle, WA, USA
I love Seattle and the city's mix of urban cool feeling along with cultural and historical charm. Are you a coffee lover like me? Seattle is known as a world centre for coffee roasting so be sure to take some time to sample some as you enjoy the relaxed laid back vibe of the city or catch some of the city’s famous music scene.
While there are many great looking buildings in the Seattle skyline, the centrepiece is without a doubt the iconic Space Needle. I definitely recommend paying a visit to the observation deck to get the best views of the city!To speak with Tracy Crowley or one of our specialists call us at:

Treat your family to the magic of Orlando, the place where there is something for everyone.
Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, Kennedy Space Center and LEGOLAND name just a few. International Drive and Lake Buena Vista are very good areas for non drivers whilst villas in Kissimmee are ideal for those who don’t mind the driving and would like to enjoy a private pool home. Give it a go, the memories stay with you forever. To speak with Ali McCurdy or one of our specialists call us at:

If I had my way every holiday I go on would be a cruise holiday! They are a fantastic way to see the world from Hawaii and the West Coast, The Caribbean and Bahamas Islands, the wilds of Western Canada and Alaska or the New England and Eastern Canada coastline. Not only will you get to visit a host of fantastic destinations, the cruise ships themselves these days are something of a destination too! With 5* entertainment options, fine dining and fantastic bars and an array of on board activities you might not want to ever leave the ship!

Favourite Destination: San Diego
My favourite things to do would be to take a stroll around Seaport Village and shop for local crafts in the shops, with excellent waterfront dining. A short walk from Village is the amazing USS Midway which is the longest serving Navy aircraft carrier of the 20th Century! The beaches are gorgeous & it's so relaxing to sit back at one of the beach bars & watch the Surfers doing what they do best. Shopping at the outlets which is a stone's throw away from the Mexican Border is a must! At night San Diego comes alive, the Gaslamp area has an abundance of bars & nightclubs to keep you entertained until the early hours. But my favourite spot is the Old Town, where you will find Mexican Restaurants with live Mariachi Bands!

Favourite Destination: New Orleans
New Orleans is one of the world's most fascinating cities. It’s Moto simply is “have fun”! Steeped in a history of influences from Europe, the Caribbean, Africa and beyond, it's home to a truly unique melting pot of culture, food and music. You'll find bowls filled to the rim with gumbo, late nights in dark jazz clubs, strolls through historic neighborhoods, and tantalizing festivals throughout the year. A afternoon stop off at Pat O’Briens for one of their famous Hurricane cocktails should be on everyone’s list.
My top tip and a must do is to experience the horse and carriage tour. This covers everything from The local Vampires, Voodoo, Hauntings, Local culture and history and the best bit the Cemetery Tour.

Favourite Destination: Los Angeles
My favourite USA destination has to be the West Coast. From theme park thrills and celebrity spotting in Los Angeles to walking the streets of San Francisco there’s so much to see and do. Cycle from Venice Beach to Malibu, shop on Rodeo Drive, enjoy the wine tasting rooms in the Funk Zone of Santa Barbara, be blown away be endless sea views on the Pacific Coast Highway. Choose to stop off in the small coastal towns of Pismo Beach and San Simeon, come inland for some antique shopping in Cambria or look for the hidden gem that is the Dutch town of Solvang. Catch a boat to Alcatraz, walk across the Golden Gate Bridge, have lunch in Sausalito or take in the sights on a hop on hop off bus tour! The West Coast won’t disappoint!
